. The cones I picked up when they fell from the trees in Autumn. I left them to dry out/open up and I then sprayed them with gold spray. Left to dry for 24hrs then they made excellent little gap fillers. All the decorations I just placed gently onto the basket which I had in my craft room . I add a little bit of red ribbon and Hey Presto !! job done and one very pleased mum.

I made this little valentine card from an image CD Rom that I picked up off e-bay

I basically just printed an A5 image off onto some photo paper and mounted it onto plain white card stock and added a little ribbon and an insert. I thought as the image was quite busy in itself that i didn't really need any more decoration.
At the moment the left hand wall is pretty free, I intend to put a large tall unit on this wall that I have seen in Ikea for a decent price. This will provide me with much need extra storage space for my ever growing stash.. I started crafting about 18 months ago so I think I'm doing ok for supplies and space. I do owe many thanks to Steve for being so very thoughtful and generous in helping me build my little dream. Thanks sweetie !!!
To the left of my work desk I have a lovely little set of drawers which I store all my special papers and card stock in. Each drawer is
carefully labeled. Then we have the stacker drawers
carefully labeled. Then we have the stacker drawersI have my wooden stamps, inks and blending chalks. In the smaller drawers I have my clear bags for my samples to be stored in. And some of the space is taken up with punches, acrylic blocks, rocker blocks an the like.

Further along on the next shelf are all my CD roms and my glue sprays etc.. Then we have my printer with the drawers below containing my white card stock of all sizes and my envelopes. Then I store my water colour crayons, lyras and promarkers of which I have a vast collection. My Sakura, paint brushes and scissors are all in the wall hanging pots. I have a decent sized work area which has a wonderful light perspective (and i can also see whats going on outside ) In addition to the natural light I have a day light lamp on the window ledge which is amazing for night crafting.
On top of the drawers are my folders which contain my unmounted stamps (cute companions collection in pink folders and popcorn bear in black) I also store my magazines and any other inspiration ideas i may have collected. I have clear wallets for decoupage sheets that I've purchased and for my templates. I also store my cricut and my jukebox on here and my gypsy( which I try to keep fully charged for all eventualities , you never know when you may need it !!! ) Above my drawers are my glitter and small embellishment jars And my small stacker drawers for odds and ends like rubons, stickers & my little gems stones. ( I have a passion for these and have quite a collection now which is ever increasing).

You are viewing my room from the right hand side as you walk in through the door, going in an anti clockwise direction. I keep my special printing paper, and my scrapbook papers in the draws, along with my embossing boards, heat gun and any die cut card i may have purchased. I have a drawer just for ribbon, which is on reels in large plastic boxes which are actually meant to store your shoes in. They were very reasonably priced (3 for £1.99 in Home & Bargains) and are clear so I can see whats inside easily. I colour sort them per box it works ok for me.

I'm intending to spend the whole of today in my craft room. I have some new ideas that I want to try out, and a request from my daughter. She wants me to make her a door plate for her berdroom in shades of lime green and yellow. I'm going to try and get this done. I will post it as soon as I finish, bye for now

Hey what happened to January? It has just flown by, here we are with Valentine's Day just over a week away and I've hardly made any gifts. I seem to have been sooo busy with other things at home. My son fled the nest last week !! This has certainly made a big change to the home Ha ha! But I do miss him bless him . I will try to keep you all up to date with what I am doing in Feb any ways, so please do pop by to have a look. I do value all your comments, bye for now
Card designs

A Card I made in 2009, although it looks quite feminine for fathers day it represents what my dad likes best (being in the garden with my mum). I used the cute companions summertime stamps and built up the image, then I coloured them in with water colour pencils. The matting and layering is mirri card and plain white card stock that I embossed around the edges .
